Ouya was designed around accessibility and affordability. The starting price for the new system is $99, which makes it the least pricey new release available.
Unlike the other systems, Ouya has a limited number of titles because it is a new system. You might not find all of the top-of-the-line games from Activision, the publishing company headed by Bobby Kotick that produces such titles as the new ?Call of Duty: Ghosts.? But Ouya is being released with 160 titles, all of which offer a free trial. The technology is?the same as a high-end smartphone or tablet, reports ABC News. Although the technology involved means you will have less power when compared to other systems, it is still enough to enjoy gaming for an affordable rate. The Ouya console was released in June of 2013, so the systems are already available in certain retailers or through an online order.

The Xbox One is another system that will release this year that you may consider purchasing. If you prefer online gaming, the new Xbox might be an appropriate choice for your gaming preferences. The company also made the technology that powers the other systems, so the Wii U is still a contender when it comes to picking out a new system. The Wii U was released in 2012, so the system is already available in stores.
