MANCHESTER (AFP) ? Argentina striker Sergio Aguero completed his ?38 million move to Manchester City on Thursday and immediately set his sights on sparking a major trophy haul.
The 23-year-old, who is the son-in-law of Argentina legend Diego Maradona, had already announced his move from Atletico Madrid on his Twitter account on Wednesday, but both the Spanish side and City waited until Thursday evening to confirm the deal.
"My style is to fight to the death for every ball and always give 100 percent, to be concentrated, give the maximum and to score goals. I have plenty to offer," he told the City website.
"I saw City win the FA Cup last season. I am sure that in the future we will be fighting for plenty of major trophies."
Aguero is seen as the answer to City's problems in attack, where Carlos Tevez has reiterated his desire to leave the English club.
His transfer is City's third major signing of the summer following the arrivals of Gael Clichy from Arsenal and Stefan Savic from Partizan Belgrade.
"I don't think I will have too many problems settling into the team," said Aguero.
"I will do what the manager asks me to do and try to work the way he wants me to. I am sure everything will be fine. I am very relaxed about it."
He is also looking forward to linking up with David Silva and Yaya Toure, who he played against during his time in Spain but who will now be team-mates at City.
"They are great players and they are now in one of the biggest teams in England. I am very lucky to be playing alongside them."
City announced that Aguero, who spent Wednesday in Manchester undergoing a medical, had signed a five-year-contract and that he is likely to be in the squad for this weekend?s Dublin Super Cup tournament.
He will wear the number 16 shirt.
Atletico said in their statement: "Atletico Madrid and Manchester City have reached an agreement under which the English club has the rights to Sergio Leonel Aguero.
"From now on the Argentine player ceases to be part of our staff. The club thanks him for his services rendered during the five seasons and wishes him luck in his new post."

All corporations face difficulties and challenges but along with today?s health system in addition to its intricacy the difficulties that household practices skin are great and perhaps numerous. Its often difficult to hold viability. Just wanting to generate the idea of a household practice is usually a struggle throughout itself.
There are lots of flaws from the health caution systems that him and i have today. These defects work simply family perform doctors if they can improve final results for people. Family businesses and household medicine generally speaking are looking for a major overhaul. Family businesses are unique including a specialty all that belongs to them. However, family perform doctors have were going to remain unnamed in addition to unlabeled in addition to a class of other experts and physicians. Another large challenge and possibly the biggest is the fact that family perform doctors include yet to realize the respect that they deserve. They will be sometimes considered second quote doctors especially inside their academic group. Although the item truly is usually a specialized field, it is usually not reinforced nor endorsed. Family businesses and household practice doctors must gain popularity and support simply because they have genuinely been this medical backbone for years and years.
Today, lots of people believe which family perform doctors are long-established and not necessarily equipped to touch newer remedies. That really holds absolutely no weight in the medical career itself.
Above The Matrix

Let?s take a breather from Barack Obama?s failure to lead on the debt crisis to his failed signature policy of ObamaCare.? Despite his promise that passage of the health-insurance overhaul bill would allow people to keep their current health insurance, a new report from the National Federation of Independent Business shows that one in eight small businesses have had to stop offering insurance to their employees.? The Daily Caller notes that the change has not been voluntary:
Among the most striking of NFIB?s findings was the number of employer health insurance plans that have been or will be eliminated since PPACA?s passage ? 14 percent, or one in eight. Eliminating employer health care plans ?is the first major consequence of?PPACA that small-business owners likely feel,? the report said.
?We are not aware of any data suggesting we?ve had turnover anywhere near this level in the past,? said?William J. Dennis, a senior research fellow at the National Federation for Independent Business.
The NFIB study also found 20 percent of small employers expect to significantly change their benefit packages the next time they renew their health?insurance?plans. Almost all of them expected to see diminished benefits, increased employee costs, or both.
The report makes clear that the change has mainly been imposed on small businesses.? Left on their own, they would have continued coverage, but in response to ObamaCare, insurers have curtailed the plans offered to smaller employers:
The considerable changes expected are in part prodded by plans that have effectively been eliminated by insurers.? One of the great ?promises? of PPACA supporters was that insured people would be able to keep their current health insurance plan. As a practical matter that has not been true for a substantial number of small employers and their employees. Since enactment, one in eight (12%) small employers have either had their health insurance plans terminated or been told that their plan would not be available in the future (Q. 5).
There are some legitimate questions about this survey.? Many of the questions asked are of opinions and projections rather than already-known events.? The sample size is light as well, with only 750 businesses surveyed by NFIB.? That?s not an inadequate sample for a national survey, but it?s not exactly robust either.
Still, the core question involves events that have already transpired, which is either cancellations or notices of cancellations from insurers.? If 14 12% of the sample reported those outcomes, that means that 90 businesses have been either cut off or warned of cutoffs on their existing plans, with an impact averaging somewhere around 4500 employees.? That?s a significant result, especially given the ?you can keep your health-care plan? rhetoric coming from the White House while urging passage of ObamaCare.
It also demonstrates one reason why businesses aren?t enthusiastic about expansion.? Under these circumstances, businesses can?t price the costs of their existing staffs, let alone additions to them through capital investment and expansion.? When risk can?t be quantified with some degree of certainty, then risk simply isn?t taken ? and we get the stagnation we?ve seen for the last two years.
Update: The percentage should have been 12% (one in eight), not 14% (one in seven).? I?ve corrected the calculations as well; thanks to Ed R for the correction.

Posted in Client Relationship ? Tags: Glory, Hope ? Top Of PageMONTREAL (AFP) ? BlackBerry maker Research In Motion (RIM) announced Monday it was cutting 2,000 jobs and that its ailing chief operating officer planned to retire.
RIM, which is facing increased competition from Apple's iPhone and mobile phones running Google's Android software, revealed plans last month to slash jobs this quarter in a bid to "streamline operations."
The job cuts announced Monday amount to just over 10 percent of the global workforce of the Waterloo, Ontario-based company.
RIM said in a statement that it would have around 17,000 employees when the layoffs are complete.
"The workforce reduction is believed to be a prudent and necessary step for the long-term success of the company," RIM said. "It follows an extended period of rapid growth within the company whereby the workforce had nearly quadrupled in the last five years alone."
RIM said the financial impact of the job cuts will be disclosed when the company announces its second quarter results on September 15.
RIM also said that chief operating officer Don Morrison, who is on temporary medical leave, planned to retire after more than 10 years with the company.
Morrison will be replaced by Thorsten Heins and Jim Rowan, who will split the COO duties.
"Don's presence at RIM will be missed, but our senior management and sales teams had already stepped up to manage Don's responsibilities since the commencement of his medical leave," RIM co-chief executives Jim Balsillie and Mike Lazaridis said.
"We're confident in the ability of those teams to continue Don's tradition of success going forward," they said.
RIM said Heins will be COO for product and sales and would be in charge of the company's hardware and software teams.
As COO for operations, Rowan will be responsible for RIM's manufacturing, global supply chain, repair services, organizational development and facilities management.
RIM's most famous product, the BlackBerry, is a favorite of businesses around the world but the company has struggled against the iPhone and Android devices in the consumer space.
A touchscreen tablet computer, the BlackBerry PlayBook, released in April to compete with Apple's popular iPad, received desultory initial reviews.
RIM shares were down 2.01 percent at $27.35 in early trading on Wall Street.

WENZHOU, China (AFP) ? China's media and public voiced anger Monday over a deadly train crash that caused a slump in railway stocks and cast doubt on the breakneck expansion of the country's high-speed network.
Thousands of Chinese turned to social media websites to express their anger over the handling of the disaster, with some saying they suspected the true scale of it was being covered up.
Authorities moved Sunday to allay concerns by sacking three senior railway officials and launching what the government called an "urgent review" of national rail safety.
But experts said the accident, which killed at least 36 people -- including two Americans and an Italian -- and was China's worst ever high-speed rail disaster, would fuel existing public unease.
"I think this has confirmed... a lot of the concerns over cost-cutting and corner-cutting that has been going on in the last few years," said Alistair Thornton, a senior analyst at research firm IHS Global Insight.
"This could have large ramifications that go up the political line."
Hundreds of millions of Chinese depend on the country's railways and any problems generate tremendous public interest in a country where, despite a three-decade economic boom, air travel remains beyond the means of most people.
At the train station in Wenzhou, the eastern city the trains were travelling to when the accident occurred late Saturday, many passengers remained unconvinced by government reassurances.
"I'm worried. Yesterday when I was booking my ticket I wondered whether to take a bus instead," Yu Dabao, a 47-year-old clothing industry worker, told AFP.
"You need to expand to develop, (but) it needs to be done in an orderly way, and I don't think it is. Before, there were no high-speed trains. It's too quick. This is not something that should happen."
A spokesman for the US Embassy in Beijing told AFP two Americans had been killed in the crash and consular officials had been in touch with their relatives.
An Italian woman aged about 22 was also killed, embassy officials said.
The parents of a two-year-old girl miraculously found alive after 21 hours in the wreckage both died, state media reported.
The accident also hit investor confidence. Shanghai-listed shares of China South Locomotive and Rolling Stock (CSR), which said it made the trains involved in the crash in partnership with two foreign companies, dived 8.9 percent.
"The railway ministry is investigating the reason of the accident and we will closely monitor the development," a CSR spokeswoman, who declined to be named or provide further comment, told AFP.
China's high-speed rail network only opened to passengers in 2007, but has grown at breakneck speed thanks to huge state funding and is already the largest in the world, with 8,358 kilometres of track at the end of last year.
But some experts say the speed of growth has exposed the system to problems, and in recent weeks delays and power outages have plagued a flagship new high-speed link between Beijing and Shanghai.
In the latest incident a power failure on the line in the eastern province of Anhui brought more than 20 trains to a three-hour standstill on Monday, a spokesman for the Shanghai Bureau of Railway told Xinhua.
The People's Daily, the influential Communist Party mouthpiece, carried a column Monday that indicated safety may have been compromised by the rush to build a world-leading system.
"The accident may have been avoided if sufficient attention was given to (recent problems)," said the writer, named Zhang Tie.
Popular microblogging sites buzzed with criticism of authorities, with some calling for the resignation of railways minister Sheng Guangzu and others urging travellers to steer clear of China's high-speed trains.
"The engineers who made the high-speed rail lines never travel on high-speed trains because they know there are security risks," wrote one.
Others accused authorities of "burying" evidence that could have helped determine the cause of the collision.
Emergency workers at the crash site were seen using heavy machinery to bury the wreckage, and Chinese authorities have been quoted as saying they did so to protect the country's technological secrets.
Concerns about official corruption also resurfaced, after China's state auditor said earlier this year that construction companies and individuals siphoned off 187 million yuan from the Beijing-Shanghai project in 2010.
In February, Beijing sacked the then railways minister Liu Zhijun for allegedly taking more than 800 million yuan ($124 million) in kickbacks linked to contracts for high-speed rail expansion.
"Maybe the silver lining of this will be it drives home that you cannot cut corners on safety," said Thornton.

Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and Google Books apps also affected by Apple in-app purchasing rules
After several months of public back and forth, Amazon has capitulated to the Apple rulebook: as of this morning, the online retailer has updated its iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch apps to remove all links to its online digital book store. Other ebook retailers including Barnes & Noble and Kobo have followed suit, in order to comply with some newly-enforced fine print in Apple's app developer guidelines.
It all started back in February, when?Apple began enforcing an obscure clause in its developer terms requiring any apps that offer customers the chance to purchase items outside of an iPhone or iPad app to also offer that ability?inside the app as well. This was essentially a thinly-veiled move to start enjoying the company's customary 30% cut from in-app transactions ? something high-volume ebook retailers like Amazon would surely want to avoid.
Stepping up its efforts a few days later, Apple?issued a March 31 deadline for in-app transactions being made available within apps that allow users to consume content purchased from outside sources. Although that deadline came and went, it appears that Apple didn't back down from its position. As of today, online book-sellers Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Kobo have all changed their respective iOS apps: instead of launching in-app ebook stores, however, all three have simply removed any links to their outside storefronts from within their iPhone and iPad apps.
In other words, in lieu of giving Apple its 30% pound of flesh, all three retailers have opted to completely remove any evidence that customers can purchase content elsewhere. In a?statement on their official Kindle forum, Amazon staff announced that "In order to comply with recent policy changes by Apple, we've also removed the 'Kindle Store' link from within the app that opened Safari and took you to the Kindle Store. You can still shop as you always have ? just open Safari and go to?www.amazon.com/kindlestore. If you want, you can bookmark that URL. Your Kindle books will be delivered automatically to your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch, just as before."
A workaround is now required to make certain ebook purchases
Kobo has removed The Store from its app, and Barnes & Noble have updated their Nook Kids app with the main app sure to follow suit shortly. Meanwhile, the Google Books app has been completely removed from the Apple App Store, as evidenced by the screenshot above. The whole incident of industry drama is a stark reminder of the kind of hardball that companies can and do play to gain advantage in emerging markets. In this case, the digital book industry reveals itself as fertile ground for staking territorial claims; unfortunately, the consumer gets the short end of the deal as heavyweights like Apple and Amazon play their?game of thrones.

The new infidelity is between people who unwittingly form deep, passionate connections before realizing that they?ve crossed the line from platonic friendship into romantic love. Infidelity is any emotional or sexual intimacy that violates trust.
~ Shirley Glass, author, Not ?Just Friends?
Affair ? The word no married person expects or wants to ever hear. Though 90% of people surveyed say affairs are ?wrong,? they are happening every day and in increasing numbers. Here are five important facts for married people to know about infidelity.
TRUTH #1: Estimates are that 25%-40% of women and 50%-60% of men will have an affair during the lifetime of their marriage.
Affairs happen for many reasons ? we?ve heard:
Then one day he/she starts talking with someone else of the opposite sex ? at work, in the neighborhood, at the gym, online, in a chat room ? and shares the discontent in their relationship. The other person listens with empathy and shares dissatisfaction in his/her relationship. A bond forms, a sharing of intimacies and emotions cross boundaries, secretly. An affair is born.
TRUTH #2: 85% of affairs begin in the workplace.
Think about the amount of time you spend with your spouse versus the amount of time you spend with co-workers. Day after day, maybe 40+ hours a week, you and your colleagues share the ups and downs of work; you bond over projects, successes and difficulties at work. The close interaction, travel, and unavoidable closeness may lead to strong friendships and emotional attachments outside your marriage. The workplace provides opportunity and proximity to people outside your family. Women?s increasing entry into the workforce has correlated with a rise in the number of affairs women are having. It?s no wonder the workplace is the most common place affairs start.
TRUTH #3: Emotional infidelity can be just as or more damaging to a marriage than physical infidelity.
Innocent flirting and office banter turns into lunch together, texting or emailing during off hours. Correspondence enters the personal realm and you begin to share intimate details about your life and relationship with this person. The secret feels exciting as you hide it from your spouse and rationalize that this is not ?cheating? since there is no physical contact; but, the emotional attachment you develop with this person can be devastating. The more intimate connection you have with someone outside your marriage, the deeper the Head and Heart connection with your spouse becomes compromised. A physical affair may not be far behind.
TRUTH #4: The internet, email, cell phones and Facebook have made it easier for people to cheat.
Curiosity about high school sweethearts, old flames from college, and lost loves can be dangerous, especially when there is a drifting or emptiness in your marriage. Romantic memories, alluring and powerful, can lead you down a path of unexpected consequences. With the click of a mouse and the best of intentions you search for an old love. Taking the next step by emailing or friending him/her on Facebook seems harmless enough. However this may begin an unanticipated cascade of romantic feelings and thoughts. Not sharing this with your spouse can lead to an ?accidental affair.? Flirting and sexual interactions through email, text, pictures and video are cheating.
TRUTH #5: After an affair, 65% of marriages end; 35% are able to save the marriage.
For some people an affair is a deal breaker and the betrayed partner cannot fathom continuing the relationship under any circumstances. For others the affair is their ticket out of the marriage; the result of a string of events that is the final breaking point in a marriage. Then there are the couples who want to save their marriages after an affair ? they end up in our office.
We strongly believe that with therapy, time, patience and work couples can journey together toward deepening their relationship and building a stronger, closer bond than they had before.

OSLO, Norway ? Police arrived at an island massacre about an hour and a half after a gunman first opened fire, slowed because they didn't have quick access to a helicopter and then couldn't find a boat to make their way to the scene just several hundred yards (meters) offshore. The assailant surrendered when police finally reached him, but 82 people died before that.
Survivors of the shooting spree have described hiding and fleeing into the water to escape the gunman, but a police briefing Saturday detailed for the first time how long the terror lasted ? and how long victims waited for help.
The shooting came on the heels of what police told The Associated Press was an "Oklahoma city-type" bombing in Oslo's downtown: It targeted a government building, was allegedly perpetrated by a homegrown assailant and used the same mix of fertilizer and fuel that blew up a federal building in the U.S. in 1995.
In all, at least 92 people were killed in the twin attacks that police are blaming on the same suspect, 32-year-old Norwegian Anders Behring Breivik.
"He has confessed to the factual circumstances," Breivik's defense lawyer, Geir Lippestad, told public broadcaster NRK. Lippestad said his client had also made some comments about his motives.
"He's said some things about that but I don't want to talk about it now," the lawyer told NRK.
Norwegian news agency NTB said the suspect wrote a 1,500-page manifesto before the attack in which he attacked multiculturalism and Muslim immigration. The manifesto also described how to acquire explosives and contained pictures of Breivik, NTB said. Oslo police declined to comment on the report.
A SWAT team was dispatched to the island more than 50 minutes after people vacationing at a campground said they heard shooting across the lake, according to Police Chief Sveinung Sponheim. The drive to the lake took about 20 minutes, and once there, the team took another 20 minutes to find a boat.
Footage filmed from a helicopter that showed the gunman firing into the water added to the impression that police were slow to the scene. They chose to drive, Sponheim said, because their helicopter wasn't on standby.
"There were problems with transport to Utoya," where the youth-wing of Norway's left-leaning Labor Party was holding a retreat, Sponheim said. "It was difficult to get a hold of boats."
At least 82 people were killed on the island, but police said four or five people were still missing.
Divers have been searching the surrounding waters, and Sponheim said the missing may have drowned. Police earlier said there was still an unexploded device on the island, but it later turned out to be fake.
The attack followed the explosion of a bomb packed into a panel truck outside the building that houses the prime minister's office in Oslo, according to a police official
"It was some kind of Oklahoma City-type bomb," said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because police hadn't released the information.
Seven people were killed, and police said there are still body parts in the building. The Oslo University hospital said it has so far received 11 wounded from the bombing and 19 people from the camp shooting.
Police have charged Breivik under Norway's terror law. He will be arraigned on Monday when a court decides whether police can continue to hold him as the investigation continues.
Authorities have not given a motive for the attacks, but both were in areas connected to the Labor Party, which leads a coalition government.
Even police confessed to not knowing much about the suspect, but details trickled out about him all day: He had ties to a right-leaning political party, he posted on Christian fundamentalist websites, and he rented a farm where police found 9,000-11,000 pounds (4,000-5,000 kilograms) of fertilizer.
Police said the suspect is talking to them and has admitted to firing weapons on the island. It was not clear if he had confessed to anything else he is accused of.
"He has had a dialogue with the police the whole time, but he's a very demanding suspect," Sponheim said.
Earlier in the day, a farm supply store said they had alerted police that he bought six metric tons of fertilizer, which can be used in homemade bombs. That's at least one metric ton more than was found at the farm, according to police.
Police and soldiers were searching for evidence and potential bombs at the farm south of Oslo on Saturday. Havard Nordhagen Olsen, a neighbor, told The Associated Press that Breivik moved in about one moth ago, just next to his house and said he seemed like "a regular guy."
Olsen said he recognized his neighbor in the newspapers this morning and said he was in shock.
Meanwhile, Mazyar Keshvari, a spokesman for Norway's Progress Party ? which is conservative but within the political mainstream ? said that the suspect was a paying member of the party's youth wing from 1999 to 2004.
Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg called the tragedy peacetime Norway's deadliest day.
"This is beyond comprehension. It's a nightmare. It's a nightmare for those who have been killed, for their mothers and fathers, family and friends," Stoltenberg told reporters Saturday.
Gun violence is rare in Norway, where the average policeman patrolling in the streets doesn't carry a firearm. Reports that the assailant was motivated by political ideology were shocking to many Norwegians, who pride themselves on the openness of their society. Indeed, Norway is almost synonymous with the kind of free expression being exercised by the youth at the political retreat.
King Harald V, Norway's figurehead monarch, vowed Saturday that those values would remain unchanged.
"I remain convinced that the belief in freedom is stronger than fear. I remain convinced in the belief of an open Norwegian democracy and society. I remain convinced in the belief in our ability to live freely and safely in our own country," said the king.
The monarch, his wife and the prime minister led the nation in mourning, visiting grieving relatives of the scores of youth gunned down. Buildings around the capital lowered their flags to half-staff. People streamed to Oslo Cathedral to light candles and lay flowers; outside, mourners began building a makeshift altar from dug-up cobblestones. The Army patrolled the streets of the capital, a highly unusual sight for this normally placid country.
The city center was a sea of roadblocks Saturday, with groups of people peering over the barricades wherever they sprang up, as the shell-shocked Nordic nation was gripped by reports that the gunman may not have acted alone. Police have not confirmed a second assailant but said they are investigating witness reports.
The queen and the prime minister hugged when they arrived at the hotel where families are waiting to identify the bodies. Both king and queen shook hands with mourners, while the prime minister, his voice trembling, told reporters of the harrowing stories survivors had recounted to him.
On the island of Utoya, panicked teens attending a Labour Party youth wing summer camp plunged into the water or played dead to avoid the assailant in the assault. A picture sent out on Twitter showed a blurry figure in dark clothing pointing a gun into the water, with bodies all around him.
The carnage hours earlier in Oslo, when a bomb rocked the city where the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded, left a square covered in twisted metal, shattered glass and documents expelled from surrounding buildings.
The dust-clogged scene after the blast reminded one visitor from New York of Sept. 11.
A 15-year-old camper named Elise who was on Utoya said she heard gunshots, but then saw a police officer and thought she was safe. Then he started shooting people right before her eyes.
Elise, whose father didn't want her to disclose her last name, said she hid behind the same rock that the killer was standing on. "I could hear his breathing from the top of the rock," she said.
She said it was impossible to say how many minutes passed while she was waiting for him to stop.
At a hotel in the village of Sundvollen, where survivors of the shooting were taken, 21-year-old Dana Berzingi wore pants stained with blood. He said the fake police officer ordered people to come closer, then pulled weapons and ammunition from a bag and started shooting.
Several victims "had pretended they were dead to survive," Berzingi said. But after shooting the victims with one gun, the gunman shot them again in the head with a shotgun, he said.
Earlier, the police official who spoke on condition of anonymity said the attack "is probably more Norway's Oklahoma City than it is Norway's World Trade Center." Domestic terrorists carried out the 1995 attack, while foreign terrorists were responsible for the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
The United States, European Union, NATO and the U.K., all quickly condemned the bombing, which Britain's Foreign Secretary William Hague called "horrific" and NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen deemed a "heinous act."
"It's a reminder that the entire international community has a stake in preventing this kind of terror from occurring," President Barack Obama said.
Obama extended his condolences to Norway's people and offered U.S. assistance with the investigation. He said he remembered how warmly Norwegians treated him in Oslo when he accepted the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009.
Britain's Queen Elizabeth II wrote to Norway's King Harald to offer her condolences and express her shock and sadness at the shooting attacks in his country.
A U.S. counterterrorism official said the United States knew of no links to terrorist groups and early indications were the attack was domestic. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation was being handled by Norway.

Personal trainers and physical therapists are both involved in the fields of health and fitness. While many people may never require nor utilize the services and expertise of a therapist, it is becoming increasingly common for people to hire a personal trainer. The assistance of a physical therapist, or physiotherapist, is usually prescribed by a doctor to assist in healing and rehabilitation of the body after a serious injury or illness. Therapy offices have medical equipment that is designed for rehabilitating injuries, including specially designed tables, exercise machines, weight or strength training tools, and other equipment that might not be found in a gym or sporting goods store. Walking aids and customized equipment for all types of injuries can be found in a physical therapy clinic.
While some of the weight equipment might be exactly the same as that found in a gym, professional therapists are better traineed incorrectly, especially after an injury, it could do more harm than good. In addition to working closely wid to show you how to utilize this equipment correctly for your injury rehab. Most weight training equipment can be used in more than one way, and if usth patients during the initial stages of rehabilitation, therapists develop maintenance routines to help people return as closely as possible to the lifestyle they enjoyed prior to the injury.
Hiring a personal trainer means you don?t have to think about what is the most effective way to work out as the trainer will know the most up to date methods to get you to your goal. If fat loss is your goal then nutrition plays a huge part of the puzzle, most good trainers can advise you on what to eat and even provide meal plans to follow. Many people get injured whilst exercising because they over exert themselves or continue through pain without realising the damage they could cause. A personal trainer will ensure your form is correct and will know what you are capable of doing without hurting yourself. You may be training for your sport or a 10k run, the trainer will know the best way to achieve optimum performance without over-training.
If one to one is too expensive many trainers offer group training or boot camps. This is an extremely cost effective solution to the problem. Training within a group of like minded people raises the energy levels, the trainer will be there to oversee technique and ensure correct posture is used at all times. The workouts can still be tailored to individuals with progressions of each exercise skilfully taught. Fitness challenges and goal setting all make for a fantastic workout; In fact group training is becoming more popular than one to one for these exact reasons.
While some personal trainers do have degrees in health related fields, this level of training is currently not required. There are a variety of certification programs that range from a few days to weeks of training, so expertise and knowledge will vary widely. Once the therapist and the physician have determined a home care and exercise maintenance therapy routine, hiring the right personal trainer is the logical next step. Nothing will replace the qualified work of a physical therapist when an injury is fresh, but ongoing maintenance can be done with personal trainers who are properly educated and certified.

Groupon is a website that offers 50% discounts on select business offers as daily deals. It advertises that selling on Groupon can increase your revenue and provide advertising while getting you new customers at the same time. However, there are a few things you should consider before signing your business up for a Groupon.
I used Groupon in January of last year, I decided that my restaurant could use the promotion and advertised a 2-person steak meal at half price. I was hoping to get a few hundred hits and then offer the clients a 15%-off deal for the next three times they came in. It seemed like a great way to get new customers and then keep them coming back.
Then things went wrong. Within the first two days Groupon sold 500 of my discounted steak meals. I called them and asked them to limit the number of sales, then said that they could not and that I was bound by contract to honor the certificates.
After lowering the cost of my food to retail price I discovered that Groupon was getting 50% of the sales. That meant that I was only receiving 1/4 of the cost for the meal! I then discovered that I was going to be paid in installments over the entire period of my Groupon advertisement and that any credit card fees would be taken out of my share.
By the end of the contract I had lost nearly $4,000, with the cost of paying employees, heating grills and buying the food to serve, I simply could not afford to sell so many steaks at that price.
While Groupon is a good advertising tool, I noticed that most of the people who came in were not interested in the restaurant so much as the fact that it was cheap. Many of them didn't return and I can only assume that they wandered away to visit Groupon's next daily deal.
I also noticed that many of the people who came in with certificates were already regular customers, therefore I was not getting new customers, only giving food away to dependable ones. I did actually receive a few new customers, but not may. The first rush of customers when the Groupon ad was placed was hectic and hard on my employees, and then having to deal with each person who had purchased a coupon in the coming months was even more trouble.
While I am sure that Groupon is beneficial to some businesses, especially the bigger ones, for me it was a disaster and I will definitely not be doing it again.
